ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Valley Forward's 32nd Annual Environmental Excellence Awards program will be held on September 29, 2012. We will recognize outstanding contributions to the sustainability of our region in an awards gala typically attended by 600+ business and civic leaders, including local, state and federal dignitaries.

Design professionals, property owners, municipalities, corporations, educators, artists, environmental consultants and others eagerly seek Valley Forward’s Environmental Excellence Awards. Winners in the program are featured in a Valleywide traveling display exhibited in high-traffic public facilities throughout the year. The event is spotlighted in a comprehensive publicity campaign that includes coverage in print, broadcast and social media outlets.

EARTHFEST EDUCATORS NIGHT

Valley Forward’s EarthFest Educator’s Night for 400+ teachers throughout Arizona will be held on October 25, 2012. The event is entering its eighth year of providing environmental education exhibits and resources for K-12 teachers throughout Arizona. They enjoy networking, refreshments, displays and activities, as well as tours of the educational venue where the event is held. In addition, Valley Forward’s EarthFest Education Grant is announced as an opportunity for teachers to apply for up to $5,000 to facilitate environmental projects.

ANNUAL LUNCHEON
Valley Forward’s 43rd Annual Luncheon on December 7, 2012 will celebrate the organization’s history of environmental stewardship, project into the next decade and beyond, recognize our accomplishments and facilitate the election of our Board of Directors. Leadership Awards will be presented to those who have made significant contributions to the organization and founding members of Valley Forward will be commemorated. This signature event typically draws upwards of 500 community leaders. Our renowned keynote speakers have included:

"JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT" MEMBERSHIP MIXERS

Valley Forward's "Just for the Fun of It" Mixers provide a networking opportunity for members and guests in a unique setting featuring a complimentary reception and event theme in keeping with our mission of environmental stewardship. Displays and exhibits are sometimes featured at these mixers, depending on the theme and overall program.

Sponsorship of these events are offered on a first come, first served basis. Sponsors must provide a complimentary venue that can accommodate a minimum of 300+ attendees, an assortment of light appetizers, beer, wine and soft drinks.

Valley Forward will work with the sponsoring organization to create an invitation that is electronically distributed. The invitation is sent to Valley Forward's database of nearly 1,000 members and prospects; sponsors may also distribute the invitation to their own list. Attendance typically ranges from 200 to 400 guests. Valley Forward manages all event registration and assists in set-up the day of the event. All costs associated with the mixer are managed and paid by the sponsor and vary depending on the size and theme of each event.
