Valley Forward's many events offer numerous opportunities to contribute to a worthy cause and network with the Valley's most influential civic and corporate leaders. Our signature programs include a Quarterly Luncheon Series, Annual Luncheon, EarthFest Educators Night and the Environmental Excellence Awards.
Member Mixer Valley Forward's annual "Just for the Fun of It" mixer will be held in April 2012 and will provide a networking opportunity for members and guests in a unique setting featuring a complimentary reception and event theme in keeping with our mission of environmental stewardship. Environmental Excellence Awards Valley Forward's Environmental Excellence Awards (EEA) program is Arizona's oldest and largest environmental competition. The 32nd annual event in partnership with SRP, will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at The Westin Kierland. EarthFest Educators Night Valley Forward has an ongoing work program to facilitate environmental education to both teachers and students in Arizona. Through our EarthFest Educators Night for teachers we will showcase environmental education resources to 300+ teachers (K-12) on October 25, 2012. Annual Luncheon Valley Forward’s 43rd Annual Luncheon on December 7, 2012, will celebrate the organization’s history of environmental stewardship, project into the next decade and beyond, recognize our accomplishments and facilitate the election of our Board of Directors. Leadership Awards will be presented to those who have made significant contributions to the organization, and founding members of Valley Forward will be commemorated. The luncheon has featured nationally recognized keynote speakers such as Robert Kennedy, Jr., Erin Brockovich, FDNY Chief Richard Picciotto, Joel Sartore, Bruce Babbit and others.
